Boys Toys - Or Not ?

Im not one for being a photographic carthorse - I like to travel light and enjoy the scenery so I doubt I'll rush off to invest in Triggertrap although its easy for many people to be seduced by trendy apps. Triggertrap Mobile 2.0 is a triggering system for SLRs available for iOS and Android. I'm happy enough with my current simple trigger for the moment but perhaps if I decide to experiment with some fancy shots like timelapse or distance lapse I may just consider one.

Tag Galaxy

One of the coolest Flickr applications I've ever seen. You can quickly locate image using a search by tag option and they are presented according to categories and then displayed on an interactive sphere. Cool, fun and quick

Apps

1. SLR Photography Guide

So many apps I've downloaded have proven to be less than worthwhile, however the SLR Photography Guide by Tanya Puntti was helpful, interesting, easy to use and is configured to receive updates. Not one for the advanced user, but one to move the beginner beyond the basics

2. Photosmith For iPad - organise, rate, tag and label your photos while you are out on location, then when you are back with your main computer, sync back to Lightroom
